With Fleur des Alpes - from the Swiss salt works in Bex

This handmade soap was boiled with Appenzell goat's milk from Gonten and Fleur des Alpes from the Swiss salt works in Bex. The Swiss salt works have been extracting salt from the heart of the Swiss Alps for 450 years. This white gold, which has been protected in the heart of the rock for 200 million years, has retained its purity to this day and is extracted in Bex using a traditional process.

Salt has marvellous properties: In a low concentration, it provides valuable minerals for our entire organism, but above all for the skin. In another concentration, it ensures that harmful substances are removed from our bodies. The "white gold" is also said to have other effects. It has a disinfectant and antiseptic effect and strengthens our skin in a natural way.

My salt soaps are made from a skin-caring mixture of cold-pressed olive oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil and virgin coconut oil. Cold-pressed castor oil and Swiss honey give the soap a stable lather. The soap smells of fresh rain.

All my soaps are handmade and hand-cut, so size, shape and design may vary from bar to bar.

Fragrance

After the Rain, a fresh blend of rain on the pavement. With notes of orange, mist, violet, peony, lily, jasmine and magnolia. It also contains essential oils of orange, eucalyptus and cedarwood.

Vegan: No, contains honey

About oiling: 13% of the saponified oils are retained

Tips for extending the life of your soap

Place your soap in a bowl that drains (not flat on the tile or in a non-draining dish!) and make sure it doesn't get wet between uses. This is optional, but it will definitely help your soap last longer.

About me

All my products are handmade by me in very small batches in my studio in St. Gallen. My soap is cold process soap, which means that I make the recipe from scratch with full control over all the ingredients. Each bar of soap matures for 4 to 6 weeks. This ensures that all the water has evaporated and results in a harder soap bar that lasts longer.
