What is beard balm?
Imagine how beard oil and beard wax unite to create a child born of pure love. This is beard balm. A perfect blend of these two worlds. It combines the caring and softening properties of beard oil and the shaping properties of wax.
It is perfect for beard wearers who have been growing their beard for at least 2-3 months since their last shave. For everyone else, beard balm is still too early. Between 1-2 months, your beard is simply too short to benefit from the shaping properties of the balm. So there is no reason to use beard balm or wax at this stage. Beard oil is the beard care product of choice here. Here I recommend my Viking beard oil.
Application
The application is very easy. Simply open the black lid, remove some balm from the black tin and massage it into the beard.

Fragrance
This beard balm is natural. It contains no artificial fragrances, only pure essential oil and is therefore very well tolerated by the skin.
Main components
Shea butter is an excellent, rich and nourishing moisturiser that reduces the appearance of fine lines and leaves skin silky smooth.
Beeswax the protective barrier for the skin. Bee wax also contains plenty of vitamin A. This supports our skin in cell regeneration - helping to keep the skin firm and elastic and minimise wrinkles
Jojoba oil should not be missing in many cosmetic care products. This is due to the particularly nourishing effect of the oil on the skin and hair. The other components of jojoba oil include vitamin E and provitamin A as well as vitamin B6 and various minerals.
Almond oil leaves the skin hydrated and smooth. It also soothes dry and irritated skin by regenerating damaged cells. Almond oil is naturally rich in nutrients, especially vitamin E, known as tocopherol, which is often added to "anti-ageing" products

Gently work the balm into your facial hair and onto the skin underneath your facial hair.

About me
All my products are handmade by me in very small batches in my studio in St. Gallen, Switzerland. My soap is cold process soap, which means that I make the recipe from scratch with full control over all the ingredients. Each bar of soap matures for 4 to 6 weeks. This ensures that all the water has evaporated and results in a harder soap bar that lasts longer.
