Handmade Sea Salt and Honey Soap

This cold-processed salt soap is especially suitable for sensitive skin. Thanks to the high-quality oils and fats, it lathers pleasantly and creamily despite its high salt content. The high superfatting of 13% and the honey it contains intensively nourish the skin and help retain its natural moisture.

This soap is made with a carefully balanced blend of organic jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, and virgin olive oil. Virgin coconut oil and cold-pressed castor oil ensure a stable, fine lather. The recipe is refined with honey from the Thurgau region of Switzerland and high-quality sea salt from Guérande, France.

Salt soaps are often appreciated by those with blemished skin. But dry, sensitive skin or skin prone to neurodermatitis can also benefit from salt soaps. Salt has versatile properties: In low concentrations, it provides the skin with valuable minerals; in higher concentrations, it can help to remove impurities from the skin. In addition, salt has natural disinfectant and antiseptic properties and supports the skin barrier.

Scent

A harmonious fragrance of fruity and floral notes. Fresh lemon and juicy peach meet a gentle honey sweetness. Hibiscus, white tea, ylang-ylang, and violet lend the soap a delicate, floral lightness, while warm musk softly rounds out the fragrance.

All soaps are handmade and hand-cut. Therefore, size, shape, and design may vary slightly from bar to bar.

Tips for extending the life of your soap: After use, place your soap in a well-draining soap dish and ensure it dries completely between uses. This will significantly extend its lifespan.

About Me

All products are handmade by me in very small batches in my studio in St. Gallen, Switzerland. My soaps are made using the cold process method, which gives me complete control over every single ingredient. Each soap bar cures for 4–6 weeks to allow excess water to evaporate, resulting in a particularly hard, long-lasting soap.
